Almighty God, unto whom all hearts are open, all desires known and from whom no secrets are hid cleanse the thoughts of our heart by the inspiration of thy Holy Spirit, that we may perfectly love thee and worthily magnify thy Holy Name through Christ our Lord, Amen.
Hear what our Lord Jesus Christ sayeth: Thou shall love the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength.

Grant, we bessech thee, merciful Lord, to thy faithful people pardon and peace, that they may be cleansed from all their sins, and serve thee with a quiet mind; through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

The Gospel Reading:
St. John 4:46
There was a certain nobleman, whose son was sick at Capernaum. When he heard that Jesus was come out of Judaea into Galilee, he went unto him, and besought him that he would come down, and heal his son: for he was at the point of death. Then said Jesus unto him, Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe.
